Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician

Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician

Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA and provide 1:1 therapy in clients’ homes, community settings, or school settings
  • Collect and record accurate data on client behavior and progress
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate relationship with families and caregivers
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all clinical interactions


Qualifications (Required):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must pass state and federal background checks


Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician

Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments
  • Develop individualized behavior plans, oversee and monitor client progress, and adjust programming as needed
  • Supervise behavioral technicians, RBTs, and senior therapists, ensuring fidelity and ethical service delivery
  • Provide parent training and support 
  • Communicate with schools, service providers, and caregivers


Qualifications (Required):

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Active certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active license with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Must pass state and federal background checks
